Yoga Opens Up classes
Classes aim to create an overall balance between energising and relaxing practices, as well as strengthening and restorative poses.
Practical information
I currently teach yoga to students and colleagues at the University of Amsterdam.

Weekly public and donation-based classes were formerly organised weekly on Tuesdays from 18.00-19.15 at the cultural community centre Tugela 85 in Amsterdam Oost, located at the Tugelaweg 85 (door bell #9).
I also give irregular yoga classes and workshops in parks, (city)beaches and festivals. Classes are regularly taught by my colleague Daniela Agius, when I am abroad. For more information see Yoga Opens Up on facebook.
Yoga Opens Up to All
Classes are adapted to all levels: beginners and more advanced practitioners are all welcome. Please let me know before class if you work with any injuries or a physical situation I should now about. In specific cases I could suggest an alternative and more appropriate form of yoga classes for you.
Yoga classes are given in English or Dutch (or a mix) depending on the needs of participants.
Yoga styles
YOU classes are based on the principes of vinyasa yoga - connecting breath, movements and awareness. I also use elements of restorative hatha yoga, yin yoga, yoga nidra (deep relaxation or 'yogic sleep'), meditation and pranayama (breath exercises).
Feel welcome!
